Midtown Auto Styling — Wraps, PPF, Tint & Ceramic

Auto Styling for Midtown Drivers

Midtown parking is part street, part assigned garage, and a night out usually ends at a valet stand or a packed curb. Cars here get bumped, brushed and moved around. Doors swing into them on the street, and bumpers tap them when parking is tight. The good part is that we're a few minutes away on I-45 or Bagby.

A lot of what we see from Midtown is sport compacts and first nice cars, often owned by younger drivers. Budgets matter, so we'll tell you which service does the most for your car and your money, and which ones can wait.

Wraps for sport compacts

On a sport compact, an accent wrap is an easy first step: a gloss black roof, a hood or mirror caps, starting at $900. A full color change in Inozetek vinyl starts at $3,200. We look at the paint first, because vinyl needs a sound surface. A wrap can come off later, which matters when it's time to sell or trade in. More on vehicle wraps in Midtown.

PPF for city miles

Midtown is close in, so you're not piling up long freeway commutes. For a lot of cars here, partial front coverage from $995 is the right amount: the full front bumper, part of the hood and fenders, the side mirrors and the headlights. If the car is new or you're on the freeway often, full front from $1,300 covers the full hood, full fenders, front bumper, side mirrors and headlights. Having the mirrors covered helps on a car that lives on the street. See PPF for Midtown.

Tint that stays legal

Dark tint is tempting, but in Texas the front side windows have to let through at least 25% of the light. An officer's meter reads the film and the glass together. We meter your glass first, so the front comes out as dark as the law allows and no darker. Behind the driver you can go darker. Carbon film starts at $300 and ceramic at $400. See window tint in Midtown.

Ceramic coating for street parking

Street-parked cars collect bird droppings, dust and grime from passing traffic. A coating keeps all of it from bonding to the paint, so a quick wash takes care of it, and a coated car holds its gloss with less effort. In an assigned garage the car is out of the weather overnight, and the coating lasts longer for it. Ceramic coating starts at $800 and graphene at $850. More on ceramic coating in Midtown.

Getting here from Midtown

We're at 5002 Navigation Blvd in EaDo, just east of downtown. From Midtown, take I-45 or head up Bagby; it's usually about 7 minutes outside rush hour. That's close enough to drop the car in the morning and be home a few minutes later by rideshare. Send photos through the quote form and we'll usually come back with real numbers the same day. You'll get a firm timeline with your quote.
