Services
Everything we do to a car, in one place — wraps, paint protection, coatings, tint, correction and repair.
Twelve services out of one shop in EaDo. Most cars that come in for one leave having had two, because the right order saves money.
All Twelve Auto Services
Wraps and colour, protection, glass, correction and repair.
Each links through to its own page with current pricing and the detail behind it.
Vehicle Wraps
Full and partial colour changes in cast vinyl, plus commercial lettering and decals.
What it covers+
A wrap changes the car completely and comes off again, which is why it beats a respray for anyone who might sell. It also protects the factory paint underneath the whole time it is on. Read the full page →
Color PPF
A coloured paint protection film — a colour change and impact protection in one layer.
What it covers+
The premium option above a wrap: you get the finish of a colour change with the self-healing and rock-chip resistance of PPF. Thicker, tougher and more expensive than vinyl. Read the full page →
Paint Protection Film
Clear urethane film over the panels that take the damage — front end, rockers, mirrors.
What it covers+
Self-healing, optically clear and invisible when installed properly. Full front is the common package; full body is for cars worth protecting completely. Read the full page →
Windshield PPF
Clear film on the glass, protecting against the chip that means a replacement.
What it covers+
Modern windshields with ADAS cameras are expensive to replace and need recalibration afterwards. Film on the glass is a small line item protecting a large one. Read the full page →
Ceramic Coating
A hard, hydrophobic layer that makes the paint easier to wash and keeps it glossy.
What it covers+
It is not scratch protection — that is PPF. What a coating does is make the surface slick, resistant to chemical staining, and dramatically easier to keep clean. Read the full page →
Graphene Coating
The premium coating tier, above standard ceramic.
What it covers+
Slicker, with better water behaviour and less tendency to show water spotting in Houston heat. Worth the step up on a car that lives outside. Read the full page →
Window Tint
Ceramic tint for heat rejection, glare and UV — not just how it looks.
What it covers+
The heat difference in a Houston summer is the real reason people do it. Also slows the interior fade that ages a cabin faster than mileage does. Read the full page →
Paint Correction
Machine polishing that removes swirls, marring and oxidation.
What it covers+
This is the step most people skip and should not. Coating or filming over defective paint locks the defects in — correction comes first, always. Read the full page →
Headlight Restoration
Cutting back yellowed, hazy lenses and sealing them.
What it covers+
The single highest-return cosmetic job on an older car. Hazy headlights read as neglect and they age a vehicle more than almost anything else visible. Read the full page →
Wheel Repair
Refinishing curb rash and kerbed faces rather than replacing the wheel.
What it covers+
Repair beats replacement on cost every time, and it is the first thing a buyer crouches down to check when they look at a used car. Read the full page →
Chrome Delete
Blacking out the brightwork — trim, grille surrounds, badges, window surrounds.
What it covers+
The cheapest change with the biggest visual impact on most modern cars, and it is film, so it is reversible when you sell. Read the full page →
Windshield Replacement
Glass replacement when a chip has already become a crack.
What it covers+
Done properly, with the calibration modern driver-assist systems need afterwards. Worth pairing with windshield film on the new glass. Read the full page →
Start With What You Actually Want
Most people arrive naming a product. It works better to start from the outcome.
Tell us the goal and we will tell you which of the twelve actually gets you there — sometimes it is fewer than you expect.
| What you want | What that usually means | Start with |
|---|---|---|
| Keep a new car perfect | Protection before the damage, not after | PPF on the front, then coating |
| Change how it looks | Reversible beats permanent if you might sell | Wrap, color PPF or chrome delete |
| Stop it getting hot | Heat comes through the glass | Ceramic window tint |
| Make it easy to wash | Slick surface, less bonding | Correction then ceramic or graphene |
| Fix how tired it looks | Usually three specific things | Correction, headlights, wheels |
| Get it ready to sell | Highest return per dollar | Headlights, wheels, correction |
| Protect the windshield | Cheaper than the replacement it prevents | Windshield PPF |
| Fix a chip or crack | Depends how far it has spread | Windshield replacement |
What People Usually Book Together
Almost nobody books one service. These are the combinations that keep coming up.
They are combinations rather than fixed packages — everything is still quoted on your car.
New car package
PPF on the impact zones, then a coating over the top.
Why it works+
The order matters: film first, coating over it. This is the package for a car you have just taken delivery of and want to keep looking new — you are protecting paint that has not been damaged yet, which is always cheaper than fixing it later.
Daily driver package
Correction, coating and ceramic tint.
Why it works+
The practical combination for a car that lives outside and gets washed at home. Correction removes what is already there, the coating makes it easy to keep clean, and the tint stops the interior cooking.
Show car package
Full correction, full-body PPF or color PPF, coating on top.
Why it works+
For a car where the finish is the point. Slow, thorough, and the only combination that protects every painted surface rather than just the ones that get hit most.
Resale prep
Headlights, wheels, correction — in that order of return.
Why it works+
The three things a buyer notices and discounts for. Cheapest possible spend for the largest movement in what someone will pay.
Blackout package
Chrome delete, tint and wheel refinishing.
Why it works+
Pure appearance, all reversible except the wheels. Common on modern trucks and SUVs where there is a lot of factory brightwork nobody actually wanted.
Track or weekend car
Front-end PPF, correction, coating.
Why it works+
Protection concentrated where stones actually hit, without paying to film panels that never get touched.
The Right Order Saves You Money
Doing these in the wrong order means paying twice.
This is the single most useful thing on this page, and it is the thing most shops will not tell you before taking your deposit.
Correction first, always
Polishing removes defects. If you coat or film over swirled paint you have sealed the swirls in permanently — and removing film to correct underneath costs more than correcting first.
Then film
PPF and color PPF go onto corrected paint. This is also the moment to decide coverage, because adding panels later means blending new film against weathered film.
Then coating
Ceramic or graphene goes over the top, including over the film. It protects both the filmed and unfilmed panels and makes the whole car wash the same way.
Glass and trim any time
Tint, windshield film, chrome delete and wheels are independent of the paint sequence and can be added whenever.
Maintenance after
A coated car still needs washing properly. We will tell you how, because bad washing undoes the thing you just paid for.
If you only take one thing from this page: correct before you cover. Film and coating are both permanent decisions about the paint underneath them.
Auto Services FAQ
Do I need PPF or ceramic coating? What is the difference?+
They solve different problems and a lot of shops blur that. PPF is a physical urethane film that absorbs rock chips and scratches. Ceramic coating is a chemical layer that makes the surface slick, glossy and easy to clean.
A coating will not stop a stone chipping your bumper. Film will. If you can only do one and the car is driven on the highway, film on the front end is the one that saves you money.
Should I wrap or repaint?+
If you might ever sell the car, wrap. It costs less than a quality respray, it comes off, and the factory paint underneath is protected the whole time it is on.
Paint makes sense when the existing finish is genuinely failing and needs refinishing rather than covering.
Can you coat over a wrap or over PPF?+
Yes, and it is usually worth it. A coating over film makes the whole car behave the same when you wash it, and it protects the film itself from staining.
The order is film first, coating second. Never the other way round.
Why does paint correction have to come first?+
Because coating and film are both permanent over whatever is underneath them. If the paint has swirls and you coat it, you have locked those swirls in for the life of the coating.
Correcting later means stripping the coating or the film off first, which costs far more than doing it in the right order.
How long does everything take?+
It varies enormously. Headlights and wheels are often same day. Tint is usually a day. Correction, film and coating are multi-day jobs because of prep and cure time.
A full new-car package with correction, PPF and coating is a week-long car, not an afternoon.
Do you work on trucks and SUVs?+
Yes, and they are a large share of what comes through. Bigger panels mean more material, so wraps and film cost more than on a sedan, but everything on this page applies.
Chrome delete in particular is popular on trucks because of how much factory brightwork they carry.
Do you travel outside Houston?+
We are based in EaDo and we do travel. Larger jobs and multi-vehicle work out of market are welcome — tell us where you are and what the scope looks like.
