Windshield
Replacement
A cracked windshield isn't just ugly — it's structural, and on modern cars it's where your safety cameras live. We replace damaged glass with quality parts, install it properly, and quote it straight — per vehicle, no games.
Repair It or Replace It?
Not every chip needs a new windshield — and not every crack can be saved. Here's the straight version.
Often repairable
A small stone chip — roughly coin-sized — away from the edges and out of your direct line of sight, caught before dirt and water work into it.
Usually replacement
Long or spreading cracks, damage at the edge of the glass, multiple impact points, or anything in the driver's view — repairs there compromise clarity and the glass's structural role.
Text us a photo of the damage with your quote request → and we'll tell you honestly which one your glass needs — even if the answer is the cheaper one.
How a Proper Replacement Works
The right glass
Your exact windshield spec — sensors, tint band, acoustic layer, heating elements — matched to the vehicle, not "close enough."
Clean removal
Old glass and urethane out without damaging the pinch weld — the metal frame your windshield's strength depends on.
Proper bonding
Quality urethane adhesive, primed and set correctly — this is what makes the windshield part of the car's structure again.
Cure & check
The adhesive gets its full safe drive-away time, moldings and trim go back on, and everything is leak-checked before handoff.
Cameras, Sensors & ADAS
On many late-model vehicles the windshield carries the forward camera for lane-keep assist and automatic emergency braking. Replace the glass and those systems may need recalibration to see the road correctly again.
We address it up front
Tell us your year, make and model and we'll tell you whether your vehicle needs recalibration after replacement — and make sure it's accounted for in the plan and the quote, not discovered after.
No corner-cutting
Safety systems aren't the place to improvise. If your car requires a manufacturer-spec calibration, that's what it gets — done right or not at all.
What Windshield Replacement Costs
Quoted per vehicle — because the part varies enormously. A base windshield and one with a heads-up display, rain sensor, acoustic glass and a camera bracket are completely different pieces of glass.
What sets the price
Your exact glass spec (sensors, HUD, acoustic, heating), moldings and clips, and whether recalibration applies.
Insurance
Comprehensive coverage often handles glass, subject to your policy and deductible — we'll provide what you need for the claim.
Fast, firm number
Send year / make / model and a photo of the damage — we'll price your exact glass, usually the same day.
Protect the New Glass
The rock that got your old windshield is still out there on I-10. A sacrificial layer of windshield protection film takes the next hit so your new glass doesn't — and while the trim's fresh, it's also the perfect time for ceramic tint.
Replacement + windshield film + tint in one visit — one drop-off, and the car leaves better protected than it came from the factory. Ask for the bundle on your quote.
Windshield Replacement FAQ
Repair or replace — how do I know?+
Small chip, out of your line of sight, away from the edges: often repairable. Long, spreading or edge cracks, or damage in the driver's view: usually replacement. Send a photo and we'll tell you honestly which yours needs.
How much does it cost?+
Per vehicle — glass specs vary hugely (sensors, HUD, acoustic layers). Year, make and model gets you an exact quote for the exact part, usually the same day.
What about my car's camera?+
Many modern windshields carry the ADAS camera. After replacement those systems may need manufacturer-spec recalibration — we'll tell you what your specific vehicle requires and account for it up front.
How long does it take?+
The work is usually done within a day; the key constraint is the urethane's safe drive-away time. We'll give exact timing for your vehicle when scheduling.
Will insurance cover it?+
Often, under comprehensive coverage, subject to your deductible and policy. Check with your carrier — we'll provide the documentation you need.
Can you protect the new windshield?+
Yes — windshield protection film adds a sacrificial layer against the next rock strike. Many clients bundle it with the replacement so the new glass lasts.
