Why do windshields vary so much in price?+
Modern windshields often carry rain sensors, heating elements, acoustic layers, heads-up display glass and a forward camera bracket. Each feature changes the part, so two windshields for similar cars can be priced very differently.
Does camera calibration cost extra?+
It can. On many newer cars the windshield carries the camera for lane-keep assist and automatic braking, and it may need recalibration after replacement. We check your vehicle and include it in your quote up front, so it isn't a surprise.
Will insurance cover windshield replacement?+
Often, under comprehensive coverage, depending on your policy and deductible. Check with your carrier, and we'll provide the documentation you need for the claim.
