Motorcycle Ceramic Coating & Paint Correction
Correct the paint first, then seal it. Doing it the other way round locks the defects in.
Machine polishing and a hydrophobic ceramic layer over paint, wraps, wheels and screens — so a wash takes minutes instead of an afternoon.
What a Coating Job Includes
Correction, then protection — on paint, on a wrap, or on both.
A motorcycle has more edges, brackets and awkward corners per square foot than anything else we work on.
Paint correction first
Machine polishing the tank, fairings and painted panels before anything is sealed.
What it covers+
This is the step people want to skip and should not. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it — correct first, seal second, in that order, always.
Ceramic coating on paint
A hard, hydrophobic layer over the painted bodywork.
What it covers+
Bikes get rained on, ridden and wiped down constantly, and there is a lot of awkward geometry to clean around. A coating makes that dramatically faster and stops the finish going flat.
Coating over a wrap
The same protection applied on top of vinyl.
What it covers+
Coating a wrap makes it easier to clean and slows the surface dulling that kills a wrap's look long before the film actually fails.
Wheels and calipers
Coated so brake dust and chain fling release instead of baking on.
What it covers+
Motorcycle wheels are the worst cleaning job on the bike. Coated, they go from a scrubbing session to a rinse.
Screens and lenses
Hydrophobic treatment on screens, headlights and mirrors.
What it covers+
Water sheets off a treated screen at speed instead of sitting on it, which is a genuine visibility difference in Houston rain.
Maintenance advice that is realistic
How to wash it without undoing the work.
What it covers+
Most coatings are ruined by washing technique, not by time. You get a straight explanation of what to use and what to keep away from the bike.

Correction Comes First
A coating is transparent. Whatever is under it stays visible.
Sealing swirled, oxidised paint means looking at swirled, oxidised paint for the life of the coating.
| Situation | What we do | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| Paint is sound | Light polish, then coat | Gloss and easy washing, no surprises |
| Swirls and marring | Correct, then coat | The defects gone before they get sealed in |
| Oxidised or flaking clear | Correction first, quoted separately | An honest assessment, not a coating over a problem |
| Bike is wrapped | Clean, then coat the film | Easier washing and slower surface dulling |

Straight Talk
Things we would rather say now than after you have paid a deposit.
None of this is a sales pitch. It is how the job actually runs.
A coating is not scratch protection
It is chemical resistance and easier cleaning. It is not armour.
What to know+
If what you want is protection from stones and boot scuffs, that is paint protection film, not a coating. Anyone selling a coating as scratch-proof is selling you something that does not exist.
Correction removes clear coat
Polishing works by taking a very small amount of material off.
What to know+
There is a finite amount available, especially on a bike that has been polished before. We measure and we stop early rather than chase the last ten percent of a defect into trouble.
We do not film hot or moving parts
No exhaust, no engine cases, no chain area, no brake components.
What to know+
Vinyl and urethane have temperature limits and nothing goes near anything that generates heat or moves. If a panel sits close to a header we will tell you before we quote it, not after.
From Photos to Finished Bike
Nothing gets a firm number off one photograph.
How much has to come off the bike is the single biggest driver of the price, and we can only see that properly in person.
Send photos and the model
Ideally in daylight, so we can see the actual condition of the paint.
In-person assessment
Paint depth and defect severity decide what correction is realistic.
Decontamination and correction
Wash, decontaminate, then machine polish to the agreed level.
Coating goes on
Panel by panel, then levelled, in a controlled space.
Cure and a care sheet
The bike stays dry while it cures, and you leave knowing how to wash it.
We are at 5002 Navigation Blvd in EaDo. Ride it in or trailer it in — either is fine. Most jobs are a drop-off rather than a wait.
Motorcycle Ceramic Coating FAQ
How long does a motorcycle ceramic coating last?+
It depends far more on how the bike is stored and washed than on the product. A garaged bike washed properly holds up for years; a bike parked outside in Houston sun and washed at a gas station will not.
We give you a realistic range for your situation instead of a headline number.
Will a coating stop stone chips?+
No. That is paint protection film. A coating is a chemical barrier and a gloss and cleaning benefit — it does nothing meaningful against impact.
Can you coat a wrapped bike?+
Yes. Coating over vinyl is common and worthwhile. It makes the wrap much easier to clean and slows the surface dulling that makes a wrap look tired before the film has actually failed.
Do I need paint correction if the bike is new?+
Usually a light polish rather than full correction. New bikes are not automatically defect-free — transport and dealer prep both leave marks — but the work is much lighter.
Ceramic or graphene?+
Graphene is our premium tier. It is slicker, behaves better with water and shows less water spotting in Houston heat, which matters on a bike that lives outside. On a garaged bike, standard ceramic is usually the sensible spend.
