Vehicle Wraps for Cypress Drivers
Cypress is truck and three-row SUV country. A lot of what we see from out here is pickups and big family haulers, and some of those trucks carry a trade business. For them, the wrap question is usually lettering: a company name, a logo and a number on the doors and tailgate, done cleanly enough that the truck looks like an established business.
At home, Cypress vehicles mostly park in two- and three-car garages, which keeps a wrap out of the sun overnight. The rough part is the road. Construction on US-290 leaves debris and grit on the Northwest Freeway, and the Grand Parkway adds more highway miles on top. That's a lot of material hitting the front of a vehicle every week.
What 290 does to your truck
Construction debris. Vinyl is styling film. It handles light scuffs, not rocks. On a truck that runs 290 daily, add paint protection film on the hood, bumper and mirrors, or expect to re-wrap a front panel at some point. A single panel can be replaced without touching the rest.
Driveway washing. Washing at home is fine for a wrap if you do it right. Rinse first, use a pH-neutral soap and a soft mitt, and move in straight lines instead of circles. Dry with a microfiber or a blower, because water spots left to air-dry etch vinyl worse than they etch clear coat.
Big panels facing up. A three-row SUV or a crew cab has a lot of roof and hood pointed at the sky, and those horizontal panels fade first. The garage covers the nights. A shaded spot at work covers the days.
What it costs
If you want the whole truck in a new color, that starts at $3,200. Partial and accent wraps start at $900. Size is the big lever here: a three-row SUV or a long-bed truck takes more film and more hours than a sedan, so expect it to price higher. Lettering, logos and fleet graphics are quoted per vehicle. Upload photos with the free quote form and you'll usually have a real number the same day.
Business graphics are covered on the commercial wraps page. For color changes, see the vehicle wraps page and what a car wrap costs. Thinking about paint instead? Read wrap vs paint first.
Getting here from Cypress
Take US-290 in toward the city. It's usually about 35 minutes outside rush hour to 5002 Navigation Blvd. If the truck is how you make a living, tell us up front and we'll talk timing before we book. Either way, a wrap is a drop-off job. You'll get a firm timeline with your quote.
Cypress FAQ
Can I get a three-row SUV wrapped for $3,200?
Probably not. $3,200 is where a full color change starts on a standard sedan in gloss or matte. A three-row SUV has far more surface and trim, so it prices higher. Send photos and we'll give you the real number instead of a guess.
Can you just do the doors and tailgate?
Yes. Spot graphics, lettering on the doors, or a partial wrap on the sides and rear all cost less than covering the whole truck, and they still put your name on the road. You'll see a design proof before anything prints.
Can I take a wrapped truck through the car wash?
Not one with brushes. They catch edges and tear film. A touchless wash won't wreck it, but the chemicals are harsh. Hand washing is the method we recommend, and the aftercare guide walks through it.
