Toyota Century: Windshield Protection Film

The Toyota Century is Toyota's flagship sedan in Japan, and this grey one was part of a multi-car restoration project we did for Annex Houston.

Its windshield got Inozetek InoShield. The film is laid over the glass on slip solution, squeegeed out from the center and trimmed to the edges, so the next rock chip hits the film instead of the windshield.

The process

The film laid over the glass and floating on slip solution before any squeegee work.

Working the film down at the base of the windshield.

Setting the edge along the cowl so it lies flat.

Slip solution still under the film while it is worked across the glass.
