Memorial Auto Styling — Wraps, PPF, Tint & Ceramic

Auto Styling for Memorial Drivers

Memorial is tree canopy along Buffalo Bayou, big lawns and sprinkler timers. That combination is hard on paint in quiet ways: sap from the trees, mineral spots from the sprinklers, and grime left behind when heavy rain pools near the bayou. The commute into town is I-10, the same road that brings you to us, with the usual highway debris.

A lot of what we see from Memorial is luxury SUVs, exotics and weekend cars, and many of them live in climate-controlled garages. Those cars are well protected at home. The risks start when they leave the garage.

Wraps for weekend cars and exotics

On an exotic or a weekend car, a wrap lets you change the color without committing the original paint. A car that spends most days in the garage is also easy on the vinyl. Full color changes in Inozetek vinyl start at $3,200, and accent or partial wraps start at $900. If you want color and paint protection in one film, read color PPF vs vinyl wrap before you decide. PPF for I-10 and weekend drives

Even a weekend car picks up chips on I-10. For exotics and low-mileage cars, full front coverage from $1,300 is where we'd start, and inoCLEAR+, the self-healing film in the Inozetek line, is the one we'd suggest. Standard inoCLEAR is also available, and partial front starts at $995. On a low car, rocker panels can be added. See PPF for Memorial.

Tint for leather and UV

A climate-controlled garage keeps the interior cool at home, but UV through the glass still fades leather and dashboards on the road. Ceramic film, from $400, blocks most UV and rejects more heat than carbon film, which starts at $300. Nano ceramic starts at $550 on a sedan. Neither film interferes with GPS or keyless entry. Texas keeps the front side windows at 25% or lighter. Details on window tint in Memorial.

Ceramic coating for sap and sprinkler spots

Sprinkler overspray dries into mineral spots, and sap from the bayou's tree canopy bakes onto warm paint. Both etch bare clear coat if they sit. A coating keeps them on the surface, where a wash takes them off. If the spots have already etched, we correct the paint first, since a coating preserves whatever it covers. A climate-controlled garage is the best place for a coating to live, which makes our graphene tier, from $850, a good fit here. Ceramic starts at $800. More on ceramic coating in Memorial.
