Truck PPF
in Houston

Houston runs on trucks — and trucks catch rocks. Paint protection film takes the hits your hood, rockers and tailgate would otherwise wear, on highway miles and job sites alike. Full-front coverage starts from $1,300. Here's where trucks get hit, and what it costs to protect.

Where a Truck Takes the Damage

Trucks get hit differently than cars — taller nose, bigger frontal area, and a lot more time near gravel and debris. These are the zones we protect first.

1

Nose & hood

The bumper, grille surround and hood leading edge catch the highway rocks that chip and star your paint.

2

Rocker panels

Lower doors and rockers take a constant sandblast of gravel and road spray — worse on lifted trucks and bigger tires.

3

Tailgate & bed rails

Loading, straps and cargo scuff the tailgate top and bed rails. Film keeps those high-touch edges clean.

4

Mirrors & A-pillars

Tow mirrors and the A-pillars sit right in the debris stream at speed. Small parts, easy to protect.

Clear, not colored

PPF is a clear, self-healing film — it disappears on the paint and heals light swirls with heat. Want to change the truck's color instead? That's a vinyl wrap →, a different job.

Truck PPF: Coverage & Cost

You pay for the panels you cover, and a truck's size puts it at the upper end of each level. Start with the essentials and build from there.

Why we quote per truck

A midsize pickup and a lifted three-quarter-ton price differently — more panel, more film, more hours. A quick look gives you a firm number, not a guess. Get your truck's PPF quote → or see the full PPF cost breakdown →

The case for film

Why Trucks Especially

PPF pays off when the film costs less than the damage it prevents — and trucks live where the damage happens.

Worth it if…

  • You run highway, tow or job-site miles
  • It's a new or late-model truck you'll keep
  • Lifted, off-road or bigger tires throwing debris
  • Dark or metallic paint that shows every chip

Go partial if…

  • Older work truck you won't keep long
  • Low miles, mostly garaged
  • Budget's tight — cover the nose now, add rockers later
Protect it all the way

Truck PPF FAQ

How much does PPF cost for a truck?+

A full-front package starts from $1,300, and a truck usually sits at the higher end of a level because it has more surface area than a car. The number depends on your truck's size and how much you cover — a quick look gives you a firm price.

Which parts of a truck need PPF most?+

The nose takes the worst of it — bumper, hood and leading edge. On trucks we also see heavy wear on rocker panels and lower doors from gravel, plus the tailgate and bed rails from loading. Those are the zones we'd protect first.

Is PPF worth it on a work truck?+

If the truck earns its keep, yes. Work and tow miles mean more rock strikes, and PPF takes those hits instead of your paint — keeping it sharp and protecting resale. The film usually costs less than the damage it prevents.

Does a lifted truck need more PPF?+

Often, yes. A lift and bigger tires throw more debris and sit in more road spray, so rockers, lower doors and the areas behind the tires take a beating. Extending coverage there is a common add-on for lifted and off-road trucks.

Can you do just the front now and add more later?+

Yes. Film installs zone by zone, so many owners start with a full-front package, then add rockers, bed rails or more panels later. Protect the essentials now and build coverage as budget allows.
