Subaru WRX STI: Paint Correction, PPF + Windshield Film

This one is ours: the 2020 WRX STI that wears our film-car livery. The big rear wing sits right in the sun and gets touched every time the trunk opens, and it was showing it.

The wing got a machine polish first, one section at a time, to take out the swirls and fine scratches you could see under direct light. Once it was corrected it went under Inozetek inoCLEAR+ paint protection film, so the finish stays that way. Factory PPF that had started to lift came off and was replaced with fresh inoCLEAR+, and the windshield got InoShield, because an STI's glass sits right behind a hood scoop and a lot of highway.

The process

Working the top of the wing one section at a time with a small polisher and a foam pad.

Under direct light the wing shows the swirls and fine scratches that polishing is meant to take out.
