Auto Styling for Montrose Drivers
Montrose streets sit under heavy tree canopy. That means shade, and it also means sap, pollen and bird droppings on every car parked underneath. Parking is a narrow driveway or the street, so a lot of cars here don't have a garage to hide in. Getting to us is a short drive on Allen Parkway or Westheimer.
A lot of what we see from Montrose is an eclectic mix: vintage cars, EVs and restored classics. Each one needs a different approach, and we'd rather talk it through with you than sell a package.
Wraps for EVs and character cars
A full color change in Inozetek vinyl starts at $3,200, and accent or partial wraps start at $900. On an EV or a newer car, the film covers the factory paint while it's on. On older or repainted cars, we look at the paint first, because a wrap needs a sound surface to stick to and to come off cleanly later. More on vehicle wraps in Montrose.
PPF for narrow driveways and curbside parking
Narrow driveways and street parking are hard on bumper corners and mirrors. Film won't stop a dent, but it takes the scrapes. Montrose is close in, so partial front from $995 is usually enough for the front end; full front starts at $1,300 if you want the whole hood and fenders covered. Both packages include the mirrors and headlights. See PPF for Montrose.
Tint for vintage interiors and EV glass
On a vintage car, UV is the concern: it fades and cracks original interiors. On an EV, it's the heat that pours through all that glass, roof included. Carbon film, from $300, and ceramic, from $400, both block most UV, and ceramic rejects more heat. Texas keeps the front side windows at 25% or lighter. Our Tesla and EV tint page covers glass roofs, and the local page is window tint in Montrose.
Ceramic coating under the canopy
Bird droppings etch clear coat quickly in the heat, and sap and pollen bond to warm paint. That makes Montrose one of the clearest cases for a coating in the inner loop. On a coated car, all three sit on top, so you have time to wash them off before they do damage. A car parked on the street can't get out from under the canopy, so the coating does the daily work. If droppings have already etched the clear coat, we polish the marks out before the coating goes on. Ceramic coating starts at $800, and our graphene tier starts at $850. Getting here from Montrose
We're at 5002 Navigation Blvd in EaDo. From Montrose, take Allen Parkway or Westheimer toward downtown; it's usually about 10 minutes outside rush hour. Wraps, PPF and coatings are drop-off jobs, but the trip home is short. Send a few photos through the quote form first; for a vintage car, include the paint and interior. You'll get a firm timeline with your quote.
