Window Tint for Montrose Drivers

What Montrose does to your glass and cabin
Shade that moves. A car parked in the shade at nine can be in full sun by two. Ceramic film rejects far more infrared than dyed film, so the cabin doesn't swing as hard between cool and scorching. Darker glass behind the driver also makes it harder for passersby to see what's on the seat.
Glass roofs. On a glass-roof Tesla, the roof is the single biggest heat source in the car. Ceramic roof film cuts that overhead heat and keeps the see-through look. A cooler cabin also means the A/C pulls less from the battery. Our Tesla patterns leave the camera areas untouched, so Autopilot and Sentry work the same.
Original interiors. On a vintage car or a restored classic, the seats, dash and trim may be hard to replace. Quality film blocks up to 99% of UV, which slows the fading, drying and cracking the sun causes. One catch on older cars: if there's only a driver's side mirror, the rear glass has to stay at 25% or lighter.
What it costs
Sedan pricing starts at $300 for carbon, $400 for ceramic and $550 for nano ceramic. A glass roof adds to the job, and bigger vehicles cost more. The free quote form gets you an exact number, usually the same day. For an older car, add a photo of the glass.

Can you do the glass roof and the windows in one visit?
Yes. Sides, rear glass and roof in one visit means one film line and one consistent look. It takes longer than sides alone, and we'll tell you how long when you book.
Do Teslas follow different tint rules?
No. Same zones, same numbers: the front side windows need 25% or more, and the back side windows can be any darkness. The rear glass and the glass roof can be any darkness too, since every Tesla has mirrors on both sides. The Texas tint law page has the details.
Can I tint a classic without changing its look?
Yes. Heat rejection comes from the film, not the shade, so a light ceramic film can cut heat and UV while the glass stays close to clear. Shades in the 50 to 70% range read as nearly clear to light. We'll hold a few shades against your glass so you can see them first.
