Window Tint in River Oaks — Houston, TX

Window Tint for River Oaks Drivers

A lot of what we see from River Oaks is exotics, luxury flagships and low-mileage weekend cars, and most of them live in a climate-controlled garage. The drive to us is a short one down Allen Parkway.

A car kept like that isn't fighting the sun at home. It meets the sun on the drive and wherever it's parked when it gets there. That's where heat and UV go to work on an interior you want to keep the way it left the factory. Low miles don't slow the sun down.

What River Oaks does to your glass and cabin

Interiors worth keeping. UV dries and fades leather and cracks dashboards over time. Quality film blocks up to 99% of UV-A and UV-B, which slows all of that. On a low-mileage car, the interior is a big part of what you're protecting.

Heat without the dark look. Heat rejection comes from the film, not the shade. A light ceramic or nano ceramic film keeps a factory look and still cuts far more heat than a dark, cheap film. Nano ceramic is our top tier for heat rejection and clarity.

No blades on the glass. Each panel is cut from your car's exact glass pattern, so there's no hand-trimming on the glass and no razor marks on the seals. Curved rear glass is heat-shrunk so the film relaxes into the curve instead of wrinkling. Edges are trimmed tight to the seal and checked under raking light before the car goes home.

What it costs

Sedan pricing starts at $300 for carbon, $400 for ceramic and $550 for nano ceramic. Wraparound windows, curved rear glass and sunroofs take more time and material, so an exotic or a flagship SUV prices above a sedan. Send the car through the free quote form and we'll usually reply the same day.

The window tint page covers each film and the clear windshield option. Ceramic tint vs regular tint explains why film quality matters more than darkness, and the Texas tint law page covers every zone.

Getting here from River Oaks

We're at 5002 Navigation Blvd in EaDo, just east of downtown. From River Oaks it's Allen Parkway into downtown and a few minutes east, usually about 12 minutes outside rush hour. Most tint jobs take a few hours. You'll get a firm timeline with your quote, so you know when the car will be ready. Afterward, leave the windows up for three to five days while the film cures.

River Oaks FAQ

Can I tint the windshield?

Only across the top. Texas keeps the windshield untinted below the AS-1 line. Above it (or the top 5 inches, whichever is closer to the top), a non-reflective strip at 25% VLT or lighter is legal. The rest of the heat work happens on the side and rear glass.

Will the film turn purple in a few years?

Not quality carbon or ceramic. Purple tint is cheap dyed film breaking down under UV. Carbon and ceramic don't carry that dye, so they hold their color and performance for the life of the vehicle in most cases.

Can I see the shades on my car first?

Yes. We'll hold real film against your glass at the shop so you can see 50%, 35% and 25% in daylight before you pick. It's the easiest way to land on a shade you won't second-guess.
