Ceramic Coating for Bellaire Drivers

What Bellaire does to your paint
Sprinkler minerals. Sprinkler water carries dissolved minerals. When it dries on a warm hood it leaves a chalky ring, and each dry cycle adds to it. Eventually the rings etch in and stop washing off. On a coated car the minerals stay above the clear coat, where a wash can still reach them.
Street trees. A spot under a street tree means sap, bird droppings and leaf litter on the roof and hood. Droppings are acidic and sap hardens in the heat, and a few summer days are enough for either one to leave a dull mark. A coating slows that down and makes both easier to remove.
Standing water. Water left in the street after a storm carries silt and oil. Drive through it and the lower doors come home with a brown film that dries hard. Scrubbing it off bare paint adds swirls. On a coated car most of it rinses away.

Our ceramic coating starts at $800, and the graphene tier starts at $850. What changes the number on a Bellaire car is mostly the condition of the paint. We're at 5002 Navigation Blvd in EaDo, just east of downtown. From Bellaire it's usually about 15 minutes outside rush hour, by way of 610. A coating is a drop-off job, because the paint is cleaned and corrected before anything is applied, and that part isn't quick. The sprinkler spots on my SUV won't wash off. Can you fix that?
Most of the time. If the minerals are still sitting on top, decontamination removes them. If they've etched into the clear coat, polishing usually takes them out. Send photos and we'll tell you which you have before you book.
Do you coat the wheels too?
We can. Wheels, glass and trim can all be coated along with the paint, and coated wheels shed brake dust far more easily. Mention it when you ask for a quote so the price includes it.
How soon can I wash it?
Give it about a week before the first wash so the coating can fully cure. After that, a pH-neutral soap and a soft mitt are all it needs. We'll go over the routine when you pick it up.
