Ceramic Coating for Pasadena Drivers
In Pasadena we talk about decontamination before we talk about the coating. Vehicles that live along the 225 corridor collect fallout from the plants on the ship channel, and it doesn't sit on top like dust. It bonds to the clear coat. Run a clay bar over a Pasadena daily driver and you can feel it grab.
Pasadena sends us a lot of work trucks, lifted trucks and company fleet. They park in driveways, open lots and equipment yards, get washed hard when there's time, and still have to look right when they pull up to a customer. That's a different brief from a weekend car. We'll recommend the tier that fits how the truck actually gets used, not the most expensive one.
What Pasadena does to your paint
Embedded particles. Industrial fallout often carries iron. Once it lodges in the clear coat it starts to rust in place, which is where the little orange dots on white and silver trucks come from. Soap and water won't touch it. It has to be dissolved chemically and pulled out before anything else happens.
Channel humidity. Living near the ship channel means damp air for much of the year. Moisture held against contaminated paint turns those dots into pits, and a truck parked outside gets the full dose.
Scrubbing. Fallout looks bad, so people scrub hard. A lot of the swirl damage on work trucks comes from that scrubbing rather than from the fallout itself. On coated paint the fallout lets go in a normal wash, so the scrubbing can stop.
What it costs
Ceramic coating starts at $800, and graphene starts at $850. Here, the order of work matters more than the tier. Coating over embedded fallout seals it in, so decontamination always comes first, followed by correction if the paint needs it. That prep is part of your quote, not a surprise added later. Send photos through the quote form, and you'll usually hear back the same day.

Getting here from Pasadena
We're at 5002 Navigation Blvd in EaDo. From Pasadena it's usually about 15 minutes outside rush hour via 225, one of the shortest drives we get from outside the Loop. That short run is what makes fleet work practical. You can drop one truck, pick it up and bring the next without losing half a day to the highway. A coating is still a drop-off job, because the prep comes first. You'll get a firm timeline with your quote.
Pasadena FAQ
Will ceramic stop the fallout?
It stops the fallout from bonding. Particles still land, but they sit on the coating instead of working into the clear coat, so a normal wash takes them off. Your truck won't stay clean on its own. The difference is that cleaning it no longer wears down the paint.
Can you do a few company trucks at once?
Yes. Tell us how many trucks and how long each can be off the road, and we'll plan the order with you. Being about 15 minutes away makes rotating them through a lot easier.
Do lifted trucks cost more to coat?
Size is what moves the price, and a lifted truck usually has more paint, bigger wheels and more trim to cover. Mention the lift and the wheels when you send photos, and the quote will reflect the real job.
